      Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Research,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) of the number of students registered for external degrees from the year 2011 up to now;

      (ii) of the number of students enroll for external degrees per year; and

      (iii) whether enrollments for external degrees have been stopped by now?

      (b) Will he state—

      (i) the registration fee charged for external degrees; and

      (ii) whether it has been planned to increase the registration fee?

      (c) If not, why?
