      Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Industries,—

      (a) Is he aware that—

      (i) the corrupt agreement that was entered into in two instances with the Singaporean company called "PV Oil"; on the dates of                    07.10.2011 and 25.01.2012, is being arranged to be revived, by Petroleum Corporation authorities;

      (ii) a loss of 116 crores, was incurred by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation by the agreement entered in to, with the aforesaid company, to import 240,000 metric tons of petrol for a period of six months; and

      (iii) the trade union levelled allegations that the decision has been taken to revive the aforesaid agreement in the year 2013?

      (b) Will he inform this House—

      (i) whether the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation is incurring losses day by day due to the aforesaid corruptions; and

      (ii) whether the fuel price is increased, time to time, as to settle such losses?

      (c) If not, why?
