Hon. Niroshan Perera,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of hospitals in the Puttalam District administered by the North Western Provincial Council; and
(ii) the number of out patients who received treatment from these hospitals during the years 2012 and 2013;
(b) Will he table separately—
(i) the number of doctors, nurses, attendants, hospital labourers and members of other staff approved for each of the said hospitals indicated in (a)(i) above administered under the North Western Provincial Council; and
(ii) the number of vacancies exists by now in the said hospitals in respect of the above positions?
(c) Will he inform this House of the measures taken to fill the vacancies in the posts indicated in (b) (ii) above?
(d) If not, why?
