Hon. (Al-Haj) A. H. M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) the people of Killinochchi, Akkarayan, Skandhapuram and Anaivilundan areas are undergoing immense hardships with their transport facilities; and
(ii) they have to wait many hours on roads for buses of the Sri Lanka Transport Board or the private sector?
(b) If so, will he inform this House whether action will be taken to address the transport problems of the people of the said areas?
(c) If not, why?
