Hon. Ajith Kumara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the statutory law that applies for the Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund;
(ii) the members in the Regulatory Board of the Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund under that stipulated law;
(iii) how often does this Regulatory Board meet adhering to that law;
(iv) the number of times that this Regulatory Board of the Mahapola Higher Education Trust Fund met during the last year; and
(v) whether the representatives from the students participated at those meetings?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the benefits expected from investing the money of Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund in Private Companies, if they have invested their money in such companies; and
(ii) if they have incurred a loss as a result of such investments, the persons who are responsible for such a loss?
(c) If not, why?
