Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether the authority to import tar to Sri Lanka was held exclusively by Ceylon Petroleum Corporation;
(ii) whether that corporation still holds that authority;
(iii) whether other companies have been granted permission to import tar, in addition to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation;
(iv) if so, the names of those companies; and
(v) why that authority held by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation was revoked?
(b) If not, why?
