Hon. Mohamed Aslam,— To ask the Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs and Posts,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which the trustees were appointed for the last time to the Jumma mosque registered under No. R/0682/T/036 in the Wakf Board of Sri Lanka in the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs; and
(ii) the names and addresses of those trustees?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of immovable property (land, houses and shops) belong to the aforesaid mosque;
(ii) whether the title deeds of the aforesaid property are in the name of the mosque;
(iii) whether agreements have been signed according to the provisions in the Wakf act when each of the aforesaid property were leased out or rented out; and
(iv) if so, the date on which those agreements were signed and the names of the relevant leaseholders?
(c) Will he state whether the approval of the Sri Lanka Wakf board and the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs have been given to rent out or lease out the property mentioned above?
(d) If not, why?
