Hon. Sunil Handunnetti,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) separately, the number of Lottery Sales Dealers and Sales Assistants who have been appointed by the National Lotteries Board for Matara District;
(ii) whether the amount paid for Sales Assistant per lottery ticket sold, has been decided;
(iii) whether a life insurance has been provided for a Sales Assistant;
(iv) if not, whether it has been proposed to introduce such an insurance scheme; and
(v) whether there is a possibility of providing motor bikes on concessionary prices to the Sales Assistants who render a considerable service in selling lotteries?
(b) If not, why?
