      Hon. Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs,—

      (a) Will he state—

      (i) whether officers of the Attorney General's Department have been used by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission as its legal advisers during the period from 2000 to 2010;

      (ii) if so, who those officers are;

      (iii) the periods during which they had served as advisers;

      (iv) whether salaries or allowances have been paid by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission to those officers who have served as legal advisers; and

      (v) if so, the allowance paid to each officer?

      (b) Will he inform this House—

      (i) whether the officers mentioned in (a) (ii) above have drawn salaries from the Attorney General's Department during the period mentioned in (a) (iii);

      (ii) whether any other amount has been paid to the Attorney General's Department by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in relation to the provision of legal advice, in addition to the amount paid to the legal advisers; and

      (iii) if so, how much?

      (c) If not, why?
