Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Mass Media,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which, the Sri Lanka Customs commenced its activities from the new office complex;
(ii) the value of telephone, electricity and water bills of the previous office last year separately each month before shifting to the new premises;
(iii) the averaged value of those bills;
(iv) the value of telephone, electricity and water bills up to now after shifting to the new office separately each month; and
(v) the averaged value of those bills ?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether telephone, electricity and water bills of the Sri Lanka Customs have been settled;
(ii) if not, whether there is a due amount; and
(iii) if so, the due amount for each bill separately ?
(c) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether measures have been taken to control the monthly water, electricity and telephone bills of the Sri Lanka Customs; and
(ii) if so, the measures are?
(d) If not, why?
