Hon. M. H. M. Salman,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the action that has been taken in response to letter No.SD/8/2 of the Presidential Secretariat dated 30.09.2010, letter No.MNBD/06/AD/CO/16 of the Ministry of Economic Development dated 02.11.2010, and letter No. MDM/AS/DM/46 of the Ministry of Disaster Management dated 23.09.2010 that were sent to the Government Agent/District Secretary of the Ampara District enlightening him on the issue of the Tsunami victims who had been rendered homeless; and
(ii) the progress that has been achieved in that regard as at present?
(b) Will he table —
(i) the number of families who were rendered homeless due to Tsunami in Saindamarudu Divisional Secretary’s Division in the Ampara District;
(ii) the names and addresses of the aforesaid persons; and
(iii) out of those who were rendered homeless, the names and addresses of the persons who have been provided with permanent houses as at present?
(c) If not, why?
