Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of centres available in Sri Lanka for issuing the vehicle emissions certificates;
(ii) of names of the institutes that have been authorized to issue vehicle emissions certificates;
(iii) of the year from which the aforesaid institutes have been issuing the vehicle emissions certificates;
(iv) separately of the income that the aforesaid institutes have earned annually by issuing vehicle emissions certificates from the year of commencement of issuing that certificates to date;
(v) of the amount that is charged for issuing the emissions certificates for each class of vehicle;
(vi) separately of the amount that the aforesaid institutes pay to the government for issuing an emissions certificate for each class of vehicle;
(vii) separately of the amount that each of the aforesaid institutes have paid to the government from the year in which the issuing of emissions certificates commenced;
(viii) whether there is any outstanding amounts to the government by any of those institutes;
(ix) if so, separately of the amount that is due from each of those institutes; and
(x) of the names and addresses of the members of the board of directors of each of those companies?
(b) If not, why?
