Hon. Padma Udhayashantha Gunasekera,—To ask the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the number of Samurdhi beneficiaries as at 08.01.2015 in each district, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the overall number of Samurdhi beneficiaries according to the report of the Samurdhi survey conducted island-wide in the year 2015;
(ii) of the number of Samurdhi beneficiaries in each district separately according to the Report referred to above;
(iii) whether there are families in respect of whom Samurdhi benefits will be cut off, according to the report; and
(iv) if so, the number of families in respect of whom Samurdhi benefits will be cut off in each district separately?
(c) If not, why?
