      Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma,—To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine,—

      (a) Will he inform this house—

      (i) the ratio between population and doctors as per the  standards of the World Health Organization;

      (ii) the aforesaid ratio in Sri Lanka;

      (iii) the total number of doctors that should be available in Matara  district  in accordance with the population  of  that district; and

      (iv) the existing number  of doctors?

      (b) Will he also inform this House of the total  number of officers and employees employed in  Health Service in Matara district, separately as per  each profession ?

      (c) If not, why ?
