Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Sustainable Development and Wildlife ,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, in terms of each year, of the number of elephants died by reason of human – elephant conflicts from the year 2010 to 2014;
(ii) of the locations where the elephants died;
(iii) of the number of elephants died, got injured and got into critical conditions; and
(iv) of the measures that will be taken to minimize the number of elephant deaths and human elephant conflicts , under present good governance government?
(b) If not why?
