Hon. (Mrs.) Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House that due to floods and landslides that occurred from 26 May to 05 June 2017—
(i) the amount of compensation given to a deceased person;
(ii) separately, the amount of compensation paid to a fully or partially damaged houses;
(iii) the amount of compensation paid to householders who lost all their properties owing to the houses being fully submerged by floodwaters; and
(iv) the time to be taken for the payment of compensations?
(b) If not, why?
