Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he state this House —
(i) separately, the number of persons died and had gone missing due to the floods and landslides that occurred in the district of Kalutara on 27.05.2017;
(ii) separately, the number of deaths that occurred due to the floods and landslides?
(b) Will he also state this House—
(i) the name, address, age, profession and the gender;
(ii) the Grama Niladhari Division and the Divisional Secretariat Division;
(iii) the name and the address of the next of kin;
of the persons who were died and had gone missing due to that disaster?
(c) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether compensation has been paid for the persons who died and went missing in that manner;
(ii) if so, the names of those persons and the amount of money that has been paid separately;
(iii) the date on which the payment of compensation will be completed?
(d) If not, why?
