Hon. I. Charles Nirmalanathan,— To ask the Minister of Home Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the people who come to get services from the Nanattan Divisional Secretariat in the Mannar district and the officers who are serving in that office face various difficulties as the said office is situated in a very old building for a long period of time; and
(ii) a letter dated 06.07.2017 sent by me with regard to the construction of a new building for the Nanattan Divisional Secretariat?
(b) Will he inform this House whether action will be taken in future to allocate money to construct a new building for the Nanattan Divisional Secretariat?
(c) If not, why?
