Hon. Ashoka Priyantha,—To ask the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) the number of Sri Lankan Fishermen who are in the languishing in the custody of foreign countries since the day the present government of Good governance came to power up to date;
(ii) the countries in which those fishermen are in custody;
(iii) the names and addresses of those fishermen;
(iv) the steps, the Ministry has taken to get those fishermen freed; and
(v) the measures, the Ministry has taken towards the wellbeing of the families of those fishermen?
(b) If not, why?
