Hon. (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana,— To ask Minister of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development and Rural Economic Affairs,—
Will he inform this House—
of the amount of surety provided to those engaged in the Prawn Industry under the Surety Fund for small and medium scale enterprises and the relevant value, as per proposal No. 152 of Budget 2016;
whether a register of names of prawn farmers, breeders and planners who received benefits as per the above proposal will be submitted; and
of the contribution that will be made by the Ministry of Finance for the promotion of Prawn Industry within the year 2017?
If not, why?
