Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,—To ask the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources & Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that the earth has sink hole was occurred in Raththota, Helwatta Kanda in Dambagolla;
(ii) of the number of houses damaged as a result of such subsidence;
(iii) of the manner in which the Ministry intervenes to protect the lives of the people of that area?
(b) If not, why?
