      Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) of the import tax per litre of kerosene oil charged by the government in importing kerosene oil;

      (ii) whether the government charges any taxes other than the import tax  for kerosene oil;

      (iii) if so, what those taxes are; and

      (iv) the amount charged as taxes per litre, as per each type of tax?

      (b) Will he also inform this House—

      (i) of the total amount of taxes charged  by the government on a litre of kerosene oil as a percentage of the retail price of a litre of kerosene oil; and

      (ii) of the retail price at which kerosene oil could be provided to the public if all taxes charged by the government on kerosene oil were lifted?

      (c) If not, why?
