Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Provincial Councils, Local Government and Sports,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the persons who administer the Local Government Authorities including the Pradeshiya Sabhas since they have been dissolved by now;
(ii) the names and designations of the aforesaid persons;
(iii) the number of pool of vehicles of the Local Government Authorities;
(iv) whether the vehicles owned by the local authorities have been given to other institutions since the local authorities are functioning without the representatives;
(v) if so, the names of the institutions and persons to whom the vehicles have been given; and
(vi) if the vehicles have been given illegally, the steps that will be taken in that regard by the Ministry?
(b) If not, why?
