Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the companies that supply Oxygen to the hospitals of the central government;
(ii) of the total amount of money spent on that monthly; and
(iii) whether these companies provide the relevant service to the hospitals without any shortage?
(b) Will he state—
(i) of the companies that supply Oxygen to hospitals of the Provincial Councils;
(ii) of the total amount of money spent for the supply of Oxygen to hospitals of the Provincial Councils;
(iii) whether those monies are directly disbursed to the Provincial Councils by the General Treasury;
(iv) the amount of money allocated by the General Treasury for that purpose annually;
(v) the amount of money required by the hospitals of the Provincial Councils for that purpose annually; and
(vi) whether the relevant funds have been received in stipulated time?
(c) If not, why?
