Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration, Disaster Management and Livestock Development,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the number of interviews conducted by your Ministry with regard to making recruitments for public service from year 2015 to date;
(ii) whether there is a criteria the interview panel should follow during the interviews held with regard to recruitments for public service;
(iii) if so, whether the criteria be tabled; and
(iv) if the criteria mentioned in (ii) above has not been prepared, whether the measures will be taken to prepare those criterion in future?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the interviews to recruit Development Officers have been held recently;
(ii) whether it is aware that questions have been asked from the female candidates, who faced those interviews, in relation to their personal life and outside the scope which had embarrassed them;
(iii) if so, the places such incidents have occurred; and
(iv) the measures to be taken in relation to the violation of the human rights of the relevant female candidates?
(c) If not, why?
