      Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) whether he is aware that the Dengue fever has spread throughout the country;

      (ii) if so, separately, in respect of each local government authority, the number of people died of Dengue fever from the year 2015 to date;

      (iii) whether he acknowledges that the spread  of Dengue fever was due to the failure of the local government authorities to discharge their duties; and

      (iv) if so, the measures initiated by the Ministry to empower local government authorities to prevent the spread of Dengue fever?

      (b) If not, why?
