Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House –
(i) of the total number of buses that were deployed for “Sisu Seriya” bus service during the period from 01.01.2015 to 30.06.2018, and of the names of the routes on which they were deployed;
(ii) separately of the number of private buses and the number of SLTB buses that were in operation on the aforesaid routes;
(iii) separately of the amounts that were paid to those private buses; and
(iv) if there are persons who have obtained money producing fake documents stating that they had operated buses, of the names of such persons?
(b) If not, why?
