Hon. Ananda Aluthgamage,— To ask the Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms,—
(a) Will he state the names and extents of lands in Kandy district that belong to the Land Reforms Commission, separately?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the names, extents and the locations of the lands in Kandy district belonging to the Land Reforms Commission that have been given on lease basis to implement projects from 2005 to 2017;
(ii) the number of projects that progressing;
(iii) the proposed projects which are over 03 years old; and
(iv) the number of lands on which projects have not been commenced yet?
(c) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether he admits that those lands in Kandy district which belong to the Land Reforms Commission which should have been used for a productive purpose have been misused as the relevant projects have not been carried out in most of those lands; and
(ii) whether arrangements will be made to take over those lands in which the projects have not yet been implemented?
If not, why?
