Hon. H. R. Sarathie Dushmantha,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a World Bank funded project called CRI is implemented under the Ministry of Irrigation;
(ii) of the projects proposed under the said project by now; and
(iii) of the progress of the Wee Oya project in Yatiyanthota Divisional Secretariat Division, which is among the said projects?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the progress of the project known as Rue-castle under the CRI project in Deraniyagala or Dehiowita Divisional Secretariat Division;
(ii) whether the plan of that project will be submitted to this House;
(iii) whether Deraniyagala town will be submerged as a result of this project;
(iv) of the estimated cost of this project; and
(v) whether that estimate and the plan will be submitted to this House?
(c) If not, why?
