Hon. Mayadunna Chinthaka Amal,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the strength of the approved cadre of the Excise Department;
(ii) out of the number of employees working at the Excise Department, of the number of those belonging to that Department and the number of those belonging to the combined service separately;
(iii) of the amounts of the monthly salaries and allowances paid to executive-grade officers, non-executive grade officers and the minor staff of the Excise Department separately in terms of each post; and
(iv) of the amounts of the monthly salaries and allowances paid to executive-grade officers, non-executive grade officers and the minor staff belonging to the combined service separately in terms of each post?
If not, why?
