Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Highways,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of depots of Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB);
(ii) whether he is aware of the fact that spare parts required for SLTB buses have been purchased from Panchikawatta violating the proper procurement methods that should be followed in purchasing goods for government institutions;
(iii) whether he is aware of the fact that a proper procurement plan is not available with Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB); and
(iv) if so, the actions that will be taken to execute a proper procurement plan in Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB)?
If not, why?
