Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana,— To ask the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the income earned from and the cost incurred on the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport from 2017 up to date, separately;
(ii) the amount of local and foreign loans obtained to construct that Airport, separately; and
(iii) each of the institutions from which those loans have been obtained, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether he admits the fact that the loans that have been obtained to construct the above Airport have not been utilized efficiently as reveled by the Audit Reports; and
(ii) the measures that would be adopted to maintain that Airport without it being a burden to the economy?
(c) If not, why?
