Hon. Niroshan Perera,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a program has been implemented to send public servants for foreign employment opportunities;
(ii) if so, separately, of the number of public servants who have applied for foreign employment, of the number of public servants who have been sent for foreign employment out of the aforesaid number of employees and of the number of public servants who are expected to be sent for foreign employment in future; and
(iii) whether a training program is conducted to train the aforesaid public servants for the available foreign employment opportunities?
(b) If not, why?
