Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Defense,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the name of each politician who has been provided with firearms from 1980 to 1990, the number of firearms provided to him/her and the year in which the firearms were provided;
(ii) of the name of each politician who has been provided with automatic firearms from 1990 to June 2023, the year in which the firearms have been provided and the name of the of the Public Institution in which he/she served or serves as a public representative; and
(iii) of the name of each politician who does not hold position at present but has not returned the firearms received and the number of firearms out of the politicians mentioned in the (i) and (ii) above?
(b) If not, why?
