Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether steps have been taken to make 5 Litres of kerosene oil available free of charge to every family which uses kerosene oil as its source of light, until the aim of providing electricity to all in the year 2012 is achieved, as mentioned in the “Mahinda Chinthana - A vision for the Future” ; and
(ii) if so, the number of families to which 5 Litres of kerosene oil are provided with, as mentioned above?
(b) If not, why ?
