Hon. Aravinda Senarath,—To ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the names of the foreign employment agencies;
(ii) whether foreign jobs are provided only by the agencies that have legally entered into agreements; and
(iii) if agencies that have not legally entered into agreements, have been providing foreign employment, of their names?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) whether agencies that provide foreign employment illegally defraud money when providing jobs;
(ii) if so, of the amount of money that has been defrauded by such agencies; and
(iii) of the action that will be taken against the agencies that have obtained money from people, but have not given them any foreign jobs?
(c) If not, why?
