Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which the “Gem and Jewellery” exhibition in the year 2010 was held;
(ii) the total cost incurred for that exhibition;
(iii) the objective of holding it;
(iv) the names of the institutions or persons who conducted the exhibition; and
(v) the manner in which expenses were borne for the exhibition ?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the profit earned or loss incurred by holding the aforesaid exhibition;
(ii) whether a financial fraud has occurred in this exhibition; and
(iii) if so, of the steps taken in this regard by now ?
(c) If not, why ?
