      Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—

      (a) Will she inform this House in regard to the machinery fixed at the Norochcholai coal power plant—

      (i) the country from which they were imported;

      (ii) the companies which manufactured them;

      (iii) the years of manufacture;

      (iv) the warranty period attached to them; and

      (v) whether warranty papers pertaining to such machinery will be submitted ?

      (b) Will she state—

      (i) the reason why the Norochcholai power plant went defunct recently;

      (ii) the maximum amount of mega watt of electricity expected to be generated by this power plant; and

      (iii) the date on which such maximum power will be added to the national grid ?

      (c) If not, why ?
