      Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education,—

      (a) Will he state —

      (i) whether any Expert Consultant, Advisor or other official of similar category has been appointed to the Ministry or any other institution/office under the Ministry for the years 2012 and 2013;

      (ii) if so, the names of said appointees and as from when they have been appointed,

      (iii) the purpose of their appointments; and

      (iv) the total cost incurred on them per month?

      (b) Will he also state—

      (i) whether any appointment as of (a)(i) has been done during the years from 2009 to 2011;

      (ii) whether they are functioning as of now; and

      (iii) if so, their professional qualifications or any other criteria considered for appointing?

      (c) If not, why?
