Hon. P. Harrison,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Will he inform this House in regard to the North Central Province separately of—
(i) the total number of cancer patients who died during the period from the year 2005 up to 2012;
(ii) the number of patients that died in each hospital;
(iii) the total number of cancer patients who receive treatment from government hospitals at present; and
(iv) the number of patients who receive treatment in each government hospital?
(b) Will he state—
(i) whether medicines are sufficiently available to the cancer patients in the North Central Province;
(ii) whether he admits that the number of cancer patients in that province has rapidly increased;
(iii) if so, the reasons for it; and
(iv) the steps that have been taken to prevent the aforesaid reasons?
(c) If not, why?
