Hon. Mohamed Aslam,— To ask the Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs and Posts,—
(a) Will he state whether—
(i) an investigation on the corruption and malpractices alleged to have taken place in the use of immovable property (lands, houses and shops) of the Jumma mosque registered under R/0682/T/036 of wakf board of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs will be conducted; and
(ii) an audit will be conducted under a special new board of trustees on the income received by the mosque from its property the balance of expenditure?
(b) Will he inform this House whether—
(i) there are properties that have been transferred by fraudulently making deeds in the names of individuals in the use of the wakf properties mentioned above; and
(ii) instructions would be issued to ban the use of such properties and institute legal action against the individuals concerned?
(c) If not, why?
