      Hon. Gitanjana Gunawardena,— To ask the Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs and Posts,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) of the total number of super-grade post offices operating in Sri Lanka at present;

      (ii) whether building facility has been provided for the new super grade post office in Seethawakapura in the Avissawella Electorate; and

      (iii) if so, whether action will be taken to commission the aforesaid super grade post office before the upcoming Sinhala New Year and to provide its service to the public?

      (b) Will he state —

      (i) whether steps have been taken to rename the Avissawella Postal Area as Seethawaka Postal Area; and

      (ii) if so, whether a programme will be implemented to inform the public of the aforesaid new postal area in line with the opening of the post office mentioned in (a)(ii) above?

      (c) If not, why?
