      Hon. Udaya Prabhath Gammanpila,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development,—

      (a)  Will he inform this House—

      (i) the period of time taken between the date on which crude oil was purchased from the world market and the oil is ready for sale for the customers in the local market;

      (ii) the monthly average crude oil price that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation purchased crude oil in November 2014 and August 2015;

      (iii) the period of time taken between the date on which petrol was purchased from the world market and the petrol is ready for sale for the customers in the local market;

      (iv) the monthly average petrol price that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation purchased petrol in December 2014 and September 2015; and

      (v) the retail price of a liter of petrol in Sri Lanka on 09th January 2015 and on 09th October 2015?

      (b) Will he inform this House as to why the benefit of the price decrease of crude oil in the world market is not given to the consumers?

      (c) If not, why?
