Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Management,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the Ven. Dalupotha Upali Thero who served as a school teacher for 30 years in Morawaka Education Division, Matara District retired 2 years ago, has been given the Pension Number 02/110/6342 by the Director General of Pensions; and
(ii) the Ven. Dalupotha Upali Thero has not been paid the due pension up to now;
(b) Will he inform this House whether he direct the Director General of Pensions to pay Ven. Dalupotha Upali Thero’s due pension payments without further delay?
(c) If not, why?
