Hon. Rauf Hakeem,— To ask the Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities,—
(a) Will he submit to this House—
(i) the number of families officially residing in the Mohideen Watta Housing scheme belonging to National Housing Development Authority and situated within Galle Municipal Council area of Kadawatsathara Divisional Secretariat Division, Galle ;
(ii) the names and addresses of those residents?
(b) Will he state—
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that the said residents who have been residing at the Mohideen watta housing scheme for over 20 years have not been provided with title certificates (title deeds) so far ;
(ii) whether he will take speedy action to provide title certificates (title deeds) for those permanent residents?
(c) If not, why?
