      Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,—To ask the Minister of Ports and Shipping,—

      (a) Will he inform this House—

      (i) the number of fuel tanks providing bunkering services under Magampura Port Management Company (Private) Ltd., (MPMC);

      (ii) separately, the capacity of a tank and the type of fuel stored;

      (iii) whether the above company has purchased 7,400  metric tons of MGO type fuel in July 2014 which rejected due to not in conformity with the specifications of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation;

      (iv) the price of one metric ton of said fuel;

      (v) as to who granted permission to the company to purchase said  fuel rejected by the Corporation; and

      (vi) separately the selling price of a metric ton of this type of fuel in December 2014 and January and February 2015?

      (b) Will he also inform this House—

      (i) separately, the loss incurred by the company by storing fuel disregarding the price fluctuations in the international market  in the years 2014 and 2015;  and

      (ii) action taken against those responsible for same?

      (c) Will he state the monthly salary and the functions of the Deputy General Manager (Bunkering) recruited on 03.12.2014 and the reason for making that illegal appointment during the period of the presidential election? 

      (d) If not, why?
