Hon. Kanaka Herath,— To ask the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of requests received by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board for extensions of pipelines and for obtaining new connections in the Rambukkana Divisional Secretary’s Division;
(ii) of the number of extensions of pipelines and new connections provided so far;
(iii) whether he admits that the number stated in (ii) above is not sufficient; and
(iv) the measures to be taken in relation to requests made for the extension of Walgama junction to Dombemada road, water extension, Katupitiya road water extension, Narambedda road water extension, Parape road water extension and Muwapitiya Halagiriya road water extension in the Rambukkana Divisional Secretary’s division?
(b) If not, why?
