Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardana,—To ask the Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a land belonging to the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation is located in Ekala, Ja-ela;
(ii) if so, how many iron towers had stood in that land;
(iii) out of this number, how many iron towers are left by now;
(iv) whether the Ministry has launched any programme by calling tenders to remove the iron towers; and
(v) whether he will take steps to conduct an inquiry against persons or institutions responsible, if any fraud has occurred in removing the iron towers?
(b) If not, why?
