Hon. Vasudeva Nanayakkara,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House,—
(i) whether he admits that the activities at Ratmalana air port are disrupted by the Fly Past Celebration of Sri Lanka Air Force;
(ii) whether he is aware that aircraft movements in the eastern side of Katunayaka air port are also disrupted?
(iii) whether he admits that air passengers too departing for foreign countries and arriving in this country often have to face inconveniences due to this celebration?
(b) Will he also inform this House of—
(i) the amount spent by the government on this celebration; and
(ii) the manner in which those funds have been obtained?
(c) If not, why?
