Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Minister of Finance and Mass Media,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the income earned by the tax imposed on foreign films in 2015 and 2016 in respect of each year separately;
(ii) the income earned by the tax imposed on foreign tele-dramas in 2015 and 2016 in respect of each year separately; and
(iii) whether the films or teledramas produced overseas by a Sri Lankan director are also taxed when those productions are brought into Sri Lanka
(b) If not, why?
